Northern Chesapeake Sheltie Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Shelties in Northeastern Maryland. Our founding philosophy is to assist Shelties regardless of age or condition whenever possible. We also strive to assist other Sheltie rescue groups whenever possible, in the understanding that if a dog is in need, we are all in this together. As of November 1, 1999, we are a newly formed group of volunteers sharing a love for the breed. We have shelties of our own that were adopted from other rescue groups, and we gain inspiration from watching them blossom from being neglected and abused to become happy, social pets that want nothing more than to love and be loved. We wish the same for all our rescued Shelties. We welcome inquiries, and are always in need of volunteers. If you would like to join us, please contact us at ncsr@comcast.net
