1999

Blaze

Blaze is our girl, we adopted her from Sheltie Haven Sheltie Rescue in 1998...she started us in rescue and presides over all the fosters who come to visit her home.

Lady

Lady was our first rescue. She was 13 when we heard about her in a shelter in Florida. We had her flown to Maryland, fell in love and decided to keep her.

Callie

Callie is our girl, we adopted her from Baltimore Rescue in 1999.

Mindy

Mindy was rescued at the very last minute from a shelter in MD, and adopted by Carrie and Darby.

Mickey

Mickey was adopted by Lynn in VA, and has a new sister, Sable.

Sam

Sam was adopted by a nice lady in Maryland.

Jack

Jack went to his new home with two little boys at Christmas, 1999.

Laddie

Laddie and Shayna came from New Jersey on Labor Day weekend, 1999.  They were going to be left behind in an empty house when their owners were made to move.  Laddie quickly found a home in VA with two little girls who adore him.

Shayna

Shayna came to us with Laddie.  She is 10 years old, and severely neglected.  She was  weak and sick, and had to be nursed back to health slowly.  After almost three months with us, she found a home with a senior lady, the perfect companion for slow strolls through the park and visits to the senior center, where Shayna has quite a fan club!

Mitzi

Mitzi is a 13 year old female.  She was  adopted by her foster family!
